INFANT ROOM
We provide personalized attention to the individual plan you have created for your infant and we reinforce the skills necessary for age appropriate development. We adhere to your requests for how you want your infants day to progress. Our infant staff is experienced and helpful to parents in easing them through the stages their infant encounters. We spend time with the infants reading, enjoying music, doing sensory play as well as promoting exploration with the things around them and still find time to cuddle them often.
1-YEAR-OLD ROOM
The 1-year-old room focuses on sensory play, painting, crafts, and fine and gross motor activities. In addition to these activities, the teachers plan three educational activities for each day. During play time they work on those exciting milestones like language and walking, as well as social skills like taking turns, sharing and playing well with others. Daily updates are sent to parents including details of their toddler's day and pictures of their toddler participating in fun activities with their friends.
2-YEAR-OLD ROOM
The 2-year-old room focuses on a lot of sensory play, painting, crafts, and fine and gross motor activities. The teachers plan a daily curriculum for the children with three educational activities. During play time they work on language, social skills, taking turns and sharing and playing with others. A large portion of the day is focused on potty training. The teachers make potty training a priority and address it in a positive way to reduce stress on the toddler. Daily updates are sent to parents including details of their toddler's day and pictures of their toddler participating in fun activities with their friends.
Preschool
There’s a magical element to the preschool years where learning seems to occur both gradually and almost as if it were done overnight. At Happy Faces we believe learning opportunities are everywhere - in our thematic units, in the pages of our storybooks, in planned games and activities, as well as in casual play, with teachers and peers. We strive to offer a cohesive and engaging environment to help bring the magic of learning alive for our young learners. Preschoolers are also little people trying to navigate in a big people world and at Happy Faces we want them to feel safe, nurtured, and heard as we help guide them through their social and emotional development.

Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-k program is a challenging yet fun, engaging environment. We prepare the Pre-k kids for Kindergarten socially, emotionally and educationally. During the year the children begin to learn and gain independence and self help skills. They are encouraged to try and work hard to learn and get prepared for Kindergarten. We offer a well organized, hands-on learning approach that teaches kids how to write, read sight words, use numbers to count, identify and associate one-to-one correspondence. We practice letters upper and lower case and beginning letter sounds and so much more. Pre-k learns through a fun, creative, engaging program. They are challenged but ready for Kindergarten the next year. As we are learning we use creative activities that kids get involved in and we learn to work in groups, small teams, and with partners along with working independently. It’s a joy to watch the smiles on young faces knowing they are having fun while learning at the same time.
